I went and published the blog I kept telling myself I would start right after I finished college...more than six months ago...
But I did it and that's the first step to success, right? Right? Someone tell me I'm right? Hello? Void? You there? I think I'm funny. Reality is often less kind.
However, those reading this blog, even if it's only my parents (Hi Mom and Dad), are probably wondering what on earth I'm doing here. Well, wouldn't you like to know!
Just kidding! Here's the story:
I have always loved to write. It's been my passion since I was a little kid forcing my dad to type on the computer as I dramatically narrated. As I got older, I started to realize that the greater stories to tell were the real ones, as I began to fall in love with Journalism. It also helped that I had an extremely weird family who made the stories I told seem normal. So following my parents instructions I went to college to pursue my passions.

In May of 2019, I, Ariel Johnson, graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelors in Communication (Journalism) and English with even more crazy and wacky stories and accepted a job with Americorps to try and explore the world a little before settling back down in my world of storytelling. So why didn't I make this then, my mother and father wonder considering I need something to show the bigwigs who might eventually hire me? Well I'll tell you.
Life got exceedingly busy with so many stories that I didn't have time to tell.
You see, my job is tutoring in schools and working from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., leaving very little free time of weekdays, and when you're not a native to area you currently lives in, you tend to want to explore, right? Right? Ope, forgot. Still shouting into the void.

So, that's what this is. Me sharing the craziness that is my life with you, dear readers, and sharing the little bits of advice and wisdom I have, with sprinkling of witchcraft on the side. Interested in joining me on this crazy ride?
