The Young Witch Turns 24

That's right guys. It's my birthday. I'm officially 24. I don't know how I feel, but I do know I now have a dress form, so it's time to get sewing!!!!!!

But before I do that, I also have a blog to run. So......yep. And today I decided after an impromptu conversation last night and the universe talking to me through my Pandora account, that today, I'll be offering advice. Specifically...

24 pieces of advice, with no explanation why I'm giving them. Let's go.

1) Take a breathe. Whatever you're doing right now can wait.

2) If you have a bad feeling, listen to it. Bad feelings are the ultimate sign that either you really don't want to do something or you know something bad is going to happen.

3) Call your parents. Usually they miss you. They are weird and kind of gross sometimes, but they miss you.

4) If you have a good feeling listen to it. Those are the ones you always want to follow.

5) Don't let people gaslight you into believing you deserve something, just because of a single action. It's really terrible of them to do, and they're terrible people for doing it.

6) If you significant other jokes about something you've told them upsets you, I recommend you break up with them. They push those limits, who know what else they are going to push.

7) Get a tattoo, another piercing, dye your hair. It's your life. Live it.

8) Never date a person who says their favorite character is the Joker. Add in that they'd want to be Sith and are in Slytherin...yeah no. (Slytherins are not all bad, this is just not a good combination)

9) Stay sexy and don't get murdered. Thank you, Karen and Georgia.

10) Be aware of the company you keep. They don't necessarily have your best interests at heart.

11) Always meet and interview your roommates. Always. ALWAYS.

12) Some friendships don't last. That's good.

13) Cherish your friendships you keep. They're always there for everything, including hiding bodies.

14) When you love someone, you love everything. You don't get to pick and choose.

15) You are who you say you are. Don't let other tell you.

16) Life's not fair. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

17) Kill your enemies...with kindness... or curse them...whatever works for you. I can't really tell you what to do.

18) Let things that don't serve you go. If you are losing energy and sleep and health, it's just not worth it.

19) If someone's only response to you on Facebook is "libertard," let it go. You have already won the argument and they don't have any proof.

20) Apply for the job. You have to at least apply to say you tried.

21) Take the job you want. F*** being practical.

22) Dress how you want.

23) Live by yourself. It's the break you never knew you needed.

24) Language. Watch it around children, learn a new one, destroy old ones.
