The Young Witch Has Fun

I promise I have an excuse for not writing last week! It because I was on...

AN ADVENTURE!

Or vacation as the boring people call it. The entire Jones-Johnson-Rosenkrans Clan formed together to celebrate the Johnson Grandparents 60th anniversary! And it was actually the first time the clan has come all together since the pandemic hit, so it was really special for everyone too.

60 years and going strong

I got to hang out with my grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle, my lovely (albeit strange) cousins and my little sister. I also took over 2000 photos over the series of four days because of I have no control over my trigger finger. Where the action is, you will find me (by my own will or my father's because the man did once literally force me to go into a sea of protesters at the age of 17 and get yelled at by cops to get back while trying to photograph. But at least I got an award....thanks, Dad).

But the reason I was taking so many photos was very simple: I was having fun. I love taking photos and being with the people I love (even those who choose to drown me multiple times, Sarah.) It's entertaining, pleasant and creates some really fun memories that I want to keep with me forever.

Because as my Aunt Diana reminded me, Fun is Important. And I firmly stand with her statement. You have to make time to have fun. To laugh, to goof off, dance around, swim, plot revenge on your cousin who keeps drowning you, play games, go on an adventure to a new place.

You can not even comprehend how good the food was. Vacations should always include highly rated food.

And we definitely got to try a few new places. Or...at least I did. When I forced my cousins out the hotel for adventuring purposes. And I got enjoy and document every moment of it. Because all the adventures, becomes fun. And that fun, becomes the great stories for tomorrow.

Now...I have over 2000 photos I have to sort through still. Welp. I'll leave that fun the people who get the flash drives...
